Meet the Team - Demmi

Hi,

My name is Demmi Hanson. I began working for Carers Count as a front-of-house assistant for the Huddersfield branch in December 2022.

My primary duty is to be the first point of contact for carers. Within my role, I undertake various administrative tasks that involve taking calls, responding to queries and giving helpful and dependable advice to unpaid carers throughout Kirklees wherever needed.

I also will be working closely with other members of the Carers Count team with additional support covering group work and updating our social media channels and website.

I have several years of customer service experience under my belt, thanks to my previous employment history. I also have experience in the charity sector and group work, having spent time volunteering. 

I hope to be a reliable guide and support for you as a carer to the best of my ability while working with Carers Count.
